Despite only being as a conceptual
fever around the car industry, Beetle Dun, the R-line-based model has been
proliferated in the advertising promotion from Volkswagen and highly speculated
to catch the firm’s attention of going into production.
Though there was a concept 14 years
ago, which was similar to the current model, failed to impress VW, the Beetle
Dune has a higher potentiality to succeed in convincing the firm’s decision of
bringing it into production as the firm status provided, "While it remains
a concept car, everything about it is feasible,".
Reportedly, the roadster offers a
2.0-litre four-cylinder engine based on GTI. It powered by 210hp and can reach
62mph at around 7.5 seconds.
