For years of competing the price at
the auction events, Mercedes-Benz, the British multinational automaker, has
claimed the title of having sold the most expensive car ever in the history of
auction fair, told by trustworthy car for sale in Phnom
Penh MG Cambodia.
The vehicle, 1954 Mercedes-Benz
W196, was used by former world’s famous car racer, Juan Manuel Fangio and had
made him win nine times World Championship. It was sold in the UK on July 2013 at
the price of $29.7 million.
Besides this legendary racing
vehicle, there are nine more automobiles that are in the same chart as the most
expensive cars which include, 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 NART Spyder with $27.5
million, 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Prototype with $16.4 million, 1964
Ferrari 250 LM with $14.3 million, 1953 Ferrari 340/375 MM Competizione
Berlinetta with $12.8 million, 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa with $12.4 million,
1936 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster with $11.7 million, 1960 Ferrari 250
GT California LWB Competizione Spyder with $11.3 million, 1968 Ford GT40
Gulf/Mirage Coupe with $11 million, and lastly 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California
Spyder at the cost of $10.9 million.
