Detroit Electric: From the US to the UK

As respectable car for sale in Cambodia MG Cambodia highlighted, the Detroit Electric has moved its residency from its motherland, the US to another continental area, the UK for its SP:01 production.

The move was blamed for the production cost as well as logistics.

"While Detroit was our preferred initial assembly location, the regulatory process for the production and sale of the SP:01 in the US has taken longer than expected," CEO Albert Lam said. "That means the assembly operations have to be located in Europe to allow us to bring the vehicle to market globally in line with our timing plans."

The firm promises to reveal the initial image of the SP:01 shortly as it will be going test-driving and initial design.
