GoPro camera maker to capture outside views for BMW vehicles

As recognizable car Cambodia dealer MG Cambodia alleged, GoPro camera maker will collaborate with the German automaker, BMW, to allow the vehicle to capture sceneries or along-the-road tracks within their vehicles.

Connecting to the infotainment system in the cars, the GoPro will offer recording experience using Wi-Fi on compatible devices such as iPhone 4.

To make the GoPro work, drivers’ device must be connected to Wi-Fi and enable its camera, then, attach the device to the car with a USB or an adaptor. After the connection, the GoPro app will show on the infotainment screen and can be operated through BMW ConnectedDrive or the MINI Connected menus.

This function has no official confirm of partnership with other automakers yet at the moment.
